what can I submit?
you can submit pieces of poetry, flash fiction, short fiction, non-fiction, photography, and original artworks for our bi-annual journal.
your piece must fit the current theme.
where do I submit my work?
you can submit your work to submit.swimpress@gmail.com with the subject tag line "swim press submission"
will my piece be edited?
you will be provided with light editing and spelling/grammar checks by one of our editors if we think the piece needs it, nothing major, but the final say will always be yours.
will i receive feedback?
we offer a feedback service which starts at £2 per piece. once payment has been sent you will receive feedback within 2 weeks from our entire team!
are there any fees?
nope!
will I be paid?
unfortunately we are unable to pay our contributors at the time though we do hope to in future.
how will I be credited?
your name will appear alongside your work in the journal. the material that you submit is your own work, you are the sole owner.
no disclosure of your contact details will be allowed without the express permission being granted by the author.
if you wish to remain anonymous you will be allowed to use a pen-name.
